It's Time Again To Participate In The
Democratic Process At The Credit Union
The date for the annual meeting has been
set and that means we will soon have an election
of board members. As a member of the credit
union, you are eligible to be a part of the election
process of new board members. It is these board
members that represent the ideas and views of
the membership, so it is important that you vote
for the person(s) who best typifies your own
opinions.
In accordance with the credit union bylaws, the
Board Chairman has appointed a Nominating
Committee to select individual candidates for the
Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee,
consisting of Kelly Brisendine, Chair, Maryanne
McCurdy and Zack Martin, has submitted the
names of the following individuals to serve threeyear
terms on the Board of Directors of Georgia
Florida United Methodist Federal Credit Union:
Max C. Caylor, Karen H. Fullerton, Daniel R.
McFarland and Dennis E. Stalvey, who is currently
serving the rest of Larry Roberts' term. Nominations
to the Board of Directors of Georgia
Florida United Methodist FCU may be made by
petitions submitted by members. Qualifying
packages may be picked up at the credit union
office. Those members who wish to nominate
someone for a vacancy should prepare and submit
a petition in accordance with published procedures.
Nominees must be members in good standing.
Be a part of the democratic process that makes
credit unions so special. Participate in the election of
our new Board of Directors and make the future
bright for us all.
